Practice and Front Office Team Leader

The opportunity to work with the staff and patients of Woodlawn Dental Center brings great joy to Practice Leader Robin Gable. Robin enjoys meeting patients and strengthening the relationships with our established patients.

Robin loves kayaking, listening to her family play music, and she her husband Robb spend as much time as possible with their children Cole (Abbey) and Elijah. As a family, they enjoy day trips, rooting for The Columbus Clippers, game nights, eating out, hiking, and playing with their chiweenie, Scout.  

Robin is involved with her church and enjoys volunteering her time there as well as supporting some local agencies that help improve the community.

Although she cheers for The Team Up North, Erin Britten is still a valuable asset to the Woodlawn Dental Center team. Erin may be one of the last faces you see before you leave your appointment and she always makes sure all your needs have been taken care of while you were here.

Erin enjoys reading, traveling, and kayaking when she is away from the office but her favorite thing to do is spend time with her daughter, Addison. Erin and Addison enjoy playing games, watching movies, shopping, and crafting together.

Being a US Airforce brat, Erin spent a portion of her childhood in Japan and their family hosted foreign exchange students.

New Patient Coordinator

When you call Woodlawn Dental Center, you may very well hear the voice of Keryssa Williams. Keryssa helps our patients reserve appointment times that are convenient to their schedule and does a great job at answering any questions our patients may have.

Keryssa enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves to read and attend concerts. When at home, Keryssa likes to watch movies and is a huge Grey’s Anatomy fan. Keryssa has two sisters, Taylour and Alyssa and a dog, Ricky.

Keryssa has been on two trips where she has had the opportunity to swim with dolphins.

First impressions are lasting impressions which is why you will most likely be greeted by Teresa Gallagher when you walk in to Woodlawn Dental Center. Teresa welcomes each patient with a smile and makes them feel at home in our office. She receives great joy from helping to reassure a nervous patient and setting them up for a successful visit.

Away from the office, Teresa enjoys spending time with her husband, Brent, and their children, Matt, Brice, and Mallori. If you want to ask Teresa about her grandson, Lane, she would be more than happy to talk about him.

Teresa enjoys antique shopping and decorating her house not only for her own enjoyment, but also for the enjoyment of the many friends and family they enjoy hosting. Someday Teresa and Brent, who have owned a towing company for 24 years, would like to build a log cabin and “live simple.”

Insurance can be complicated for our patients which is why we have April Molesky to help our patients with communication between them and their insurance company.  April enjoys the satisfaction of helping out patients maximize their benefits.

April is the proud Mom to Kiara, Kami, and Trevor and enjoys being involved with her kid’s activities. When she is not at one of their events, April enjoys traveling and baking.

A fun fact about April is that she can juggle. She also dreams of living in Alaska.

 

Amanda

Knowing that there is an expert to verify your insurance puts our patient’s minds at ease. Amanda Rankin is very thorough when it comes to gathering the information needed to inform our patients about their benefits as well as following up with any outstanding insurance claims.

When away from the office, Amanda and her husband Brian enjoy their annual trips to Tennessee and spoiling their Yorkshire Terrier, Pippa. Amanda is very talented at making crafts out of glass bottles and her favorite day is Halloween.

A fun fact about Amanda is that not only is she an identical twin, but so is her mother.

Helping to maximize  benefits and making sure each patient understands their dental treatment is something Khristine Moss takes very seriously.  What Khristine likes the most about her job is the satisfaction of seeing a patient all the way through their treatment.

Khristine stays busy with her daughter Alexis’ gymnastic meets and as a family they enjoy hiking, walking, bike riding, swimming, and most outdoor activities.

Photography and scrapbooking are interests of Khristine’s as well as taking road trips. This year Khristine will follow her daughter’s gymnastic team to Savannah, Georgia to watch them compete in Nationals.

When going over your treatment needs, you will be glad to have the thoroughness of Ginger Howell to help you plan out your treatment to make sure it is completed in a timely manner while maximizing your benefits. Ginger enjoys helping her patients and always has a positive attitude.

Ginger and her husband, Matt enjoy rooting for their kids, Hailey and Jacob, at their sporting events and spending any extra time that they can together as a family.  When the weather is nice they like to go fishing and they love The Cleveland Indians.

Ginger enjoys reading and her family recently became chicken farmers so that also takes up a portion of her time.

Meggan

Meggan

Hygiene Team Leader, Registered Dental Hygienist

Hygiene team leader, Meggan Ingram, is very passionate about dentistry and is always educating herself on the latest in dental hygiene. Meggan knows the importance of a successful hygiene team and loves helping a patient reach a level of good oral health.

Meggan just went out of the country for the first time on a cruise to Mexico and Belize. She had a great time and plans to go again someday.

Weekends are always busy for Meggan as she enjoys kayaking, traveling, reading, softball, and attending concerts. Her pride and joy is her four legged girl, Tinkerbell.

 

Shelby

Registered Dental Hygienist

To say this is a big year for hygienist Shelby Zaleski is an understatement. Not only does Shelby have plans to makes 2017 the best year for her patients, she is also getting married to her fiancee’, Devin Fitzgerald, and they will be spending their honeymoon in Mexico.

Shelby enjoys educating her patients about the overall benefits of good oral hygiene and spends time reaching out to our patients who need to reserve time with us to keep them in great health.

When not at work, Shelby enjoys reading, taking walks, home improvement projects, and, of course, wedding planning.

Meeting new people and establishing relationships with her patients is what hygienist Hannah Marling enjoys the most about her job. Hannah’s patients like her friendliness and her willingness to explain treatment to them in terms they can understand.

Hannah and her husband Tyler have enjoyed every minute of being first time parents to their daughter Baylee. Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, including her four- legged boy, Braxton. She also enjoys planting flowers and cheering for her favorite sports teams, The Ohio State Buckeyes, The Cleveland Cavaliers, and The Denver Broncos.

A fun fact about Hannah is that she and her dog were both born on May22.

Kendra has been on the Woodlawn Team for 2 years and is our Woodlawn cheerleader. If we need a creative writing, Kendra is our go to! In her free time, Kendra spends time with her Husband Robbie and her son Ty. We look forward daily to Kendra's positivity and enthusiasm!

To say she loves animals is an understatement. Hygienist Bruklynne Slack puts action behind her words when it comes to helping animals. Bruklynne participates in many fund raisers for the animal shelter and enjoys rescuing and rehoming animals. Away from the office, Bruklynne also enjoys fishing, boating, riding dirt bikes, and just being outside with her boyfriend Chase and his son Jackson.

Helping patients get back to a good state of oral health that will have a positive effect on their overall health is what drives Bruklynne to be the best hygienist that she can be for her patients.

Bruklynne lives in Zanesville and plans to attend a few concerts this year.

Marketing Director

Every morning I look forward to seeing and talking with our wonderful patients and doing everything I can to make their time with us pleasant and positive. My co-workers are the best anyone could ever hope for! They are truly gifted and skilled in their jobs, and always greet the world with smiles, which makes this the happiest office I could imagine. Most of my work here involves corporate and management issues that keep the business side of things running without a hitch. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church, or watching Ohio State sports with my husband, Dr. Maximo. We also look forward to seeing our children every chance we get. When Dr. Maximo has to travel out of town for a few days, I use each opportunity to rearrange things around the house or squeeze in some remodeling. He’s quite fond of redecorating that require no effort on his part.

Although she started out as an assistant, when the opportunity to join the marketing team came available, Laura Mick knew that it would be a position where she could use her knowledge and skills to help the Woodlawn Dental Center team grow.  Helping put together marketing pieces is a productive outlet for Laura’s passion to craft and create.

Spending time with family, both immediate and extended, is what brings Laura the most joy. She, along with her husband Coty, are excited for their children, Brayden and Chelsea, to become involved in activities where they can assist the team or group and help cheer them on. Hosting family for game nights is Laura’s idea of fun whether it’s for a special occasion or no occasion at all- “The more, the merrier.”

CDA, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Restorative Team Leader

Guatemalian born EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) Solei Fisher makes it her personal mission every day to make sure each patient has the dental care that they deserve. Solei is the team leader for the EFDA’s and assistants and makes it a priority to see that her team has the information and education needed to allow our patient’s needs and comfort are met.

Solei and her husband Jake enjoying spending time with their son, Dawson. Solei also likes to watch movies, organize her house, listen to music, and travel abroad to visit family. With her roots in Guatemala, Solei speaks fluent Spanish but learned English when she moved here at the age of 13.

Solei and Jake will be celebrating 5 years of marriage this year and to celebrate are planning a trip to Europe.

CDA, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Product Team Leader

Being able to complete restoration on patient’s teeth and knowing that their mouth is healthier is what drives EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) Mary Seckman to take special care of each patient. Having been a part of the Woodlawn Dental Center team since 1999, Mary is a familiar and trusted face to our patients.

Mary, along with her husband Wayne, are the proud parents of four grown children, Josh, Abbey, Amanda (Mike), and Courtney (Braxton).  The whole family had their life changed when they welcomed grandson Maximus to their family late 2016. Being Granny is Mary’s newest obsession and loves all the time she can spend with him.

Mary enjoys shopping and being outside when the weather is warm, camping at Moheican, and kayaking. In the last year two of her daughter have become goat farmers so Mary has over 20 grandgoats!

Positive and passionate about life describes EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant)  Christine Browning. In less than two years at Woodlawn Dental Center, Christine became a Certified Dental Assistant, was certified in coronal polishing, and graduated at the top of her class with her EFDA degree from Stark State.

Christine and her “talented and handsome barber husband” Barry are the proud parents of 2 year old Brody. When away from the office, Christine enjoys shopping and family time.

 

Danielle

CDA, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Determined to continue her education and to advance in the field of dentistry is what is empowered Danielle Smart to complete her EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) degree at The Ohio State University. Danielle is currently an assistant to the doctors and takes pride in making sure her patients comfort is a priority.

Danielle and her husband Kevin are busy with three daughters Emberlin, Coralin, and Irelin. As a family they enjoy camping and will also get to see the St. Louis arch this year. In the very little spare time that she does have, Danielle enjoys crafts and scrapbooking.

Helping to improve the community is important to Danielle and that is why she volunteers with Operation Homestay, Smiles From the Heart, and Stars, Stripes, and Smiles.

Diana Shinn has called Ohio home since she moved here from California in 2003. Diana is passionate about the field of dentistry and trains the new assistants that start at Woodlawn Dental Center. Patient centricity is very important to Diana as she always makes sure each of her patient’s needs are addressed.

Diana graduated from Stark State this fall with her EFDA  (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) degree. In her spare time, she loves to read and watch movies with her husband of 8 years, Darrin. Together Darrin and Diana have two dogs, Lucky and Honey.

Diana’s dream vacation is a cruise with her husband and she also hopes to find a house that can be her “forever home.”

The dream of becoming an EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) ia a reality for assistant Laiken Mourer. This fall she graduated from Stark State. Laiken understands the importance of making sure each patient is comfortable when they are under our care and is always willing to help wherever the team needs her.

Spending time outside with her family and boyfriend, Josh, is what Laiken enjoys doing on the weekends. Her dog, Roxy, is her pride and joy. Because she believes in helping our community, Laiken volunteers at Haven of Hope and also knows sign language.

Abbey Seckman has big goals when it comes to her career in dentistry. Abbey plans to become a Certified Dental Assistant this year and eventually earn her EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) degree. She enjoys helping to comfort each patient during their treatment and assisting the doctors to make each appointment go as smoothly as possible.

Abbey is a “major puppy lover” and is the proud mother to twin goats. Abbey also enjoys reading, swimming, and shopping. Exciting news for Abbey is that she will be going on her first cruise in 2017.

Although she’s newer to the dental field, Victoria Gaydos’ goals are big and achievable. Dental Assistant Victoria is in the process of receiving her CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) and will then go to school to become an EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant).  Victoria understands the importance of proper dental care and the impact that a great smile can have on someone’s life.

Victoria’s family includes her parents, younger brother, and twin sister who she enjoys spending time with, along with her friends. Her hobbies include dance and showing rabbits. Her love for animals and her desire to help the community are evident by the time she spends as a 4-H advisor with The Noble County Ring Leaders
